The AASHTO TAM Data Guide: Data and Information Systems for Transportation Asset Management is a product of NCRHP Project 08-115. The digital version of the guide aids TAM practitioners in assessing their current practice, identifying data- and system-based improvements, and creating an implementation plan. The guide functions in tandem with the TAM Data Assistant Tool to advance the use of information systems and data for asset management in transportation.

There are several methods for interacting with the virtual guide, including:

• Browsing the content chapter-by-chapter via the Chapter Pages or PDF downloads,
• Exploring the details of the case studies in Framework Exploration, and
• Following the steps outlined in Process Exploration section to implement data- and information system improvements.
